I'm just in awe of what happens when you help someone set up a system. It was incredible how quickly it came together and how much easier it was to find creative solutions for storing everything properly. It fit together like an easily finished puzzle, and it made me realize it really had everything to do with you helping me learn to use a system.
I signed up for this challenge not expecting too much. Was I ever wrong. It is what you make of it of course, but the amount of information and insight provided by Conny and Vicky together with the support was invaluable. I have a whole new perspective now, and my relationship with "stuff" has evolved along the way. I have removed literally 2 truckloads of stuff from my home so far. Stuff that has been weighing me down, mentally and emotionally. What a relief!
I participated in Conny’s 5 day declutter challenge!! The challenge asked participants to spend no more than 15 min a day to declutter any area in your home. I continue to do this long after the challenge is complete. Example: I decluttered a small kitchen drawer while waiting for the kettle to boil and it is still in good condition weeks later. It feels soooo good and it was so easy to adopt this habit!!
Holy smokes. Love this! After the new year, my office had become a catch-all for a home purge we were doing. My office was a mess! And I couldn't even see the floor. Literally. My back hurt from sitting in weird postures, and I was not very productive. Now, my office is back to being perfect and I'm back to being productive in a BIG way! Thanks, Conny!
After working with Conny, I have been able to keep my desk clear for the most part. I have been doing all of my work; when at home, from my desk which I was not able to do before.
Clutter can be overwhelming and starting small can yield big results. I took the advice to tackle one thing like a drawer and corner for ten minutes and that set a tone. Next thing you know, bags of clothes, unwanted knick-knacks and papers were out the door and what was left was manageable. Having a live-work space that is organized and tidy is energizing and not as difficult to achieve if you follow Conny's tips.
Conny was very kind and supportive during our time together. She really listened to me and guided me through an awesome process to clear some “problem” areas in my home, the areas that bothered me the most. She made sure I stayed focused on task and offered solutions for anything I had questions about. I definitely have tools and processes I can use moving forward on my own.
Mess/Cluttered areas/lack of structure
I have tools and processes I can use to make smaller adjustments on a daily basis in order to keep areas clear and tidier.
I attended 2 workshops held by Conny in August. They were fantastic! I learned so much and began to implement some of the clutter clearing strategies I learned in the workshops. I still have a long way to go, but so far already feeling lighter as I tackle each area in my house. Thank you Conny!
This was a really positive experience for me and one that I am glad that I invested in. The suggestions you gave, Conny, were manageable and really help me to continue to approach my mess with less overwhelm. Thank you! 🙂
I participated in a 5-days of decluttering challenge Conny held in her Facebook group. I found it inspiring and helpful. The best thing was - it was in bite-size pieces. I could see by the way she presented this challenge, that she knows what she’s talking about. I also love that she reaches out to get her finger on the pulse of your specific needs. Conny will meet you where you are, without judgement. I strongly recommend joining her Facebook group from chaos to peace and enrolling into any of her programs. She’s delightful.
I attended your declutter workshop at the Blending Bar and loved it ! Am considering to have your assistance with some work in my home ! Truly encouraged by your knowledge and personality
Conny, you have an effective engaging way of including everyone. Your simple yet powerful nuggets to get to the heart of the matter is refreshing. I found it useful to remember that we are all 'in process' and to be gentle. Thank you. Carolyn
Being organized is a feeling and a habit. It’s not a once a week ‘thing to do’. Conny helped me organize and prioritize my projects and enjoy my home. I gauge my success with a comment from a family member; that her visit with me felt like a stay at a hotel. A few days later she too was tidying and organizing. My actions were more powerful than my words in this instance. Thank you again Ms Conny for your wisdom.
I feel so free and peaceful when I walk into my office now – It's’ what I have always wanted and never knew how to do it or why I was having so much trouble doing it.
Thanks so very much Conny – my dream come true. You are super great!!!!
I started with Conny's challenge for my office with the zones. I have used the zones for getting organized and clearing flat surfaces. Now getting the systems in place is great to keep it clear. Zones are working for my kitchen, bedroom and personal desk as well as all shelves and floor space are being honoured. Thank you Conny.
Before working with Conny on my office, files and finances, I felt overwhelmed with what needed to be taken care of. I realized, after I made wonderful changes with Conny, I had felt helpless. Without Conny's expertise, heart and passion for what she offers, I was not able to get started in a way that I felt good about and could continue.
One of the many things I appreciate about working with Conny is that she has a beautifully non-judgmental way of handling this big process of change in my thoughts and beliefs of what was/wasn't possible.
Your help totally busted my pattern of messiness with paper and gave me solid rules for zoning my work stuff.
